Prior to the regular Town Board
Meeting, the Honorable Judge Sara Sperrazza, Supervising Judge of
Village and Town Courts, presented an Action Plan Grant, awarded
through the Office of Court Administration, in the amount of
$2,454.00 to Wilson Town Justices Botzer and Berger.The funds will
be used to purchase computers for the Justice Office.
Mr. Clark called the regular
Town of Wilson Town Board Meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. in the
auditorium of the Town Hall.

Mr. Clark chaired the meeting in
the Supervisor’s absence.
A motion was made by Mr.
Muscoreil, seconded by Ms. Major and unanimously carried, the
minutes of the March 5, 2008 Workshop Meeting and the March 19,
2008 Regular Town Board Meeting be approved as submitted by the
Clerk.
A Resolution was offered by Mr.
Muscoreil, seconded by Mr. Thompson and unanimously adopted, the
following bills be approved as read by the Clerk:

A request was received from the
Wilson Historical Society to use the Town Hall parking lot May 26,
2008 for the Memorial Day Fair.
A request was received from Tax
Collector Julia Godfrey for authorization to attend the NY State
Association of Tax Receivers & Collectors Training Seminar July 8
thru 11, 2008 in Glens Falls at a cost of $605.00.
A request was received from
First Deputy Town Clerk A. Diane Muscoreil for authorization to
attend the Institute of Municipal Clerks at Cornell University
July 20 thru 24, 2008 at a cost of $725.00.
The Town Clerk announced that
she received the Environmental Quality Review for Dorwood Mobile
Home Park and Rainbow Mobile Home Park.
At this time, Mr. Clark opened
public participation.
A Sunset Island resident asked
about the fence for the Sunset Island dumpster and Mr. Kerwin
stated that work on the fence has been completed.
All being heard who wished to be
heard, Mr. Clark closed public participation.
Mr. Banks reported 18 building
permits were issued during the month of March with an estimated
value of $230,000.
Mr. Andrews reported that there
have been no recent union negotiations and work is continuing on
zoning violations.
A motion was made by Mr.
Muscoreil, seconded by Mr. Thompson and unanimously adopted, First
Deputy Town Clerk A. Diane Muscoreil be authorized to attend a
training seminar at Cornell University July 20 thru 24, 2008 as
requested.
A motion was made by Mr. Clark,
seconded by Mr. Muscoreil and unanimously approved, a public
hearing on the request of the Frontier Skydivers for renewal of a
Special Permit to operate an Overnight Camp/Private Club at 3316
Beebe Road be set for Wednesday, May 21, 2008 at 7:00 p.m.
A motion was made by Mr.
Muscoreil, seconded by Ms. Major and unanimously carried, a public
hearing on the request of Focus I, LLD to rezone property at 3536
New Road, Dorwood Mobile Home Park, from RR200 to UR 100 be set
for Wednesday, May 21, 2008 at 7:00 p.m.
A Motion was made by Mr. Clark,
seconded by Mr. Muscoreil and unanimously carried, a public
hearing on the request of David S. Erway and Peter N. Wagner to
rezone property at 3256 Lockport Youngstown Road, Rainbow Mobile
Home park, from RR200 to UR100 be set for Wednesday, May 21, 2008
at 7:00 p.m.
A Resolution was offered by Mr.
Muscoreil, seconded by Ms. Major and unanimously adopted,
authorizing the Town Justices to accept credit card payments.
A motion was made by Mr. Clark,
seconded by Mr. Thompson and unanimously carried, the Wilson
Historical Society be authorized to use the Town Hall parking lot
for the annual Fair Monday, May 26, 2008.
The next Workshop Meeting will
be Wednesday, May 7, 2008.
The next Regular Meeting will be
Wednesday, May 21, 1008.
A motion was made by Mr. Muscoreil, seconded
by Ms. Major and unanimously carried, the meeting be adjourned at
7:20 p.m.
